Why IGLU?

IGLU meets the specific needs of military families in Haut-Richelieu by easing their integration through specialized services that complement those offered by the Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC).

If you are military personnel being posted to the region, you can learn more about our services here.
If you are military personnel already established in the region, you can learn more about our services here.

Do you offer the same services as the MFRC?

Not at all. We offer services that complement those already in place. IGLU offers, for example, support services for planning your house hunting trip. We meet with local businesses to present the advantages of hiring military spouses.

How can I access the services?

Contact an IGLU counselor directly for information or, if you have received your posting orders to the region, complete the intake form.

What support is available for my spouse?

We support military spouses with finding employment, learning French, and settling into the community. All Canadian Armed Forces family members can access our services. Your partner can contact an IGLU advisor directly for personalized assistance.

What types of services do you offer?

The IGLU program specializes in organizing house hunting trips (HHT), employment assistance for military spouses, and housing searches.
